ishinoko FESTIVAL

Since 2020, we have been inviting renowned chefs from in- and outside Japan to cook in ishinoko festival’s kitchen. By fusing ingredients from Takigahara with their techniques and flavours from home, chefs build bridges across borders and foster community through a mutual apprecation of food.

If this idea resonates with you and you would like to participate in the next iteration of ishinoko festival, please contact us.

The organisers of ishinoko kitchen, Anna and Graham, are passionate travellers, explorers, and lovers of all things food. They have lived in Japan for a combined 10+ years and in Ishikawa Prefecture for a combined 6 years. In that time, they have organised food festivals and hosted events around the country in order to share their passion for good food and good company.

ishinoko kitchen was formed out of a desire to share with a wider audience the knowledge they have earned over the years researching local and seasonal ingredients, fostering relationships with top chefs and restaurants, and curating specialty Japanese food products.
